Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aman Transport IQ LLC ("Aman", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Aman apps and services (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to handling personal data — especially information relating to children — with care and transparency.

Who is responsible for your data. The Service is operated by Aman Transport IQ LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Montana, United States (Montana Secretary of State filing number 17295155), of 55 W 14th St, Ste 101, Helena, MT 59601-3387, United States, serving schools and families in Iraq. 1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to everyone who uses Aman: parents and guardians, drivers, and administrators. It also explains how we handle information about children that parents provide. Children do not create or hold Aman accounts; the Service is used by adults.

2. The personal data we collect

Information you provide to us:

• Account and contact details — your name, mobile number, password or Driver ID, and profile information.
• Child information (provided by parents) — the child's name, grade, level, school, verification status, and the driver they are connected to.
• Home pickup location — a GPS pin you drop to mark where a child is collected. This is used as the driver's navigation target.
• Communications — messages, absence notes, support requests, and other content you send us or share through the Service.
• Driver information — for drivers, your Driver ID, declared seat capacity, assigned vehicle details, and availability.

Information we collect automatically:

• Vehicle / trip location — during an active trip, the driver's device shares location so parents can follow the journey and receive pickup and drop-off updates. Location is used for live tracking while trips are underway.
• Device and technical data — device type, operating system, app version, language setting, and similar diagnostic information.
• Usage data — how you interact with the Service, such as features used and alerts generated, used to operate and improve the Service.

Information from third parties:

• School enrollment confirmation — where a partner school confirms a child's enrollment as part of verification.
• Verification vouching — where a driver confirms a child as part of verification.
• Service providers — technical information from providers that help us deliver the Service (for example SMS/OTP delivery status).

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health, religion, or biometric data) and ask that you do not provide it.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data only for the purposes set out below. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

• To provide the Service — creating your account, adding and verifying children, connecting parents and drivers, running trips, and showing attendance.
• To provide location tracking and alerts — showing vehicle location during trips and sending journey notifications. This depends on the location and notification permissions you grant on your device.
• To verify identity and eligibility — sending one-time codes and confirming enrollment and connections to keep the platform trustworthy and safe.
• To communicate with you — responding to support requests and sending service-related messages.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service — diagnosing problems, preventing misuse, and developing new features.
• To comply with legal obligations — where we are required to keep records or respond to lawful requests.

Where a feature depends on a permission you grant — such as device location or push notifications — we use that data only while the permission is switched on. You can withdraw any permission at any time through your device settings, though some features will then stop working.

4. Children's personal data

Protecting children is central to Aman. Information about a child is provided by that child's parent or guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information they share and for having the authority to share it. We use children's data only to deliver the transport-coordination service — such as verifying enrollment, connecting the child to a driver, enabling pickup navigation, and recording attendance — and we apply heightened care to how this data is accessed, shared, and retained. We do not use children's data for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us without proper authority, contact admin@amantransportiq.com and we will investigate and delete it as appropriate.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed to run the Service:

• Drivers — a driver you connect with can see the information needed to serve the child, such as the child's name, the home pickup pin, and the parent's contact number.
• Parents — receive trip and location updates relating to their own child.
• School transport administrators — can access information needed to verify students, oversee drivers and rosters, and reconnect families when a driver changes.
• Partner schools — where a school participates in verification, limited information may be exchanged to confirm enrollment.
• Service providers (processors) — we use trusted providers to host and run the Service, including Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting), mapping/geocoding providers, and SMS/notification providers. They act on our instructions under contract.
• Apple — as the app store operator; your use of the app is also subject to Apple's own privacy terms.
• Legal and safety — we may disclose data where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the safety of a child or other person.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

6. International data transfers

Aman is operated from the United States, and its infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the Europe (Frankfurt) region (eu-central-1). We previously used the Middle East (Bahrain) region and moved to Frankfurt to keep the Service resilient and continuously available to families in Iraq. This means your personal data is stored and processed outside Iraq, and may also be accessed by our team in the United States for support, security, and administration of the Service. Wherever your data is handled, we apply the protections described in this policy and require our service providers to do the same under contract. 7. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — generally for as long as you have an Aman account and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or safety obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, subject to any records we are legally required to retain. Our current retention periods are: live trip and vehicle location data — 90 days; attendance and trip history — the current academic year plus 12 months; account and profile data — for the life of the account; and backups — purged within 90 days. Following an account-deletion request, we delete personal data from live systems within 30 days.

8. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosting on secure cloud infrastructure. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it to provide the Service.

9. Your rights

We offer the following controls to every Aman user, wherever you are located. You may ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your account and personal data (see section 10);
• stop or limit a particular use of your data;
• export your data in a portable format; and
• turn off any permission you have granted, such as location or notifications.

To exercise any of these, contact admin@amantransportiq.com from the email address or mobile number linked to your account. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate by writing to us at the address in section 14.

10. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your Aman account and associated personal data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account in the app, at https://amantransportiq.com/delete-account, or by emailing admin@amantransportiq.com from the address linked to your account. We will verify your request and permanently delete your account and personal data, except where we are legally required to keep certain records. Deleting a parent account also removes the associated child profiles.

11. Push notifications and location permissions

With your permission, we send push notifications for journey events such as pickups and drop-offs, and we use device location to provide tracking. You can turn notifications and location on or off at any time in your device settings. Turning them off may disable core features such as live tracking and alerts.

12. Analytics

We use limited diagnostic and crash-reporting data to keep the Service reliable and to fix problems quickly. This may include crash and performance reports generated by Apple's own developer tools and by third-party diagnostic services used by our development partner. This information is technical — for example device model, operating system version, app version, and the state of the app when an error occurred. We do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to build profiles of you or your child, and we do not sell it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Please review this policy periodically.
