Welcome to the Aman Help Center. Aman (أمان) is a school transport tracking service that connects parents, drivers, and school transport administrators so that every child's journey to and from school can be followed with confidence. Below are answers to the questions we hear most often. If you can't find what you need, contact us at admin@amantransportiq.com and our team will be glad to help.
Aman is a mobile service for school transport. Parents use the Aman Parent App to follow their child's ride, receive real-time alerts, and manage attendance. Drivers use the Aman Driver App to manage their student roster and daily trips. School transport administrators use a web dashboard to oversee drivers, verify students, and keep families connected when a driver changes. Aman does not replace your existing arrangement with a driver — it makes that arrangement visible, verified, and easier to manage.
There are two mobile apps. The Parent App is for families following a child's journey. The Driver App is for transport drivers managing their trips and roster. Administrators work from a separate web dashboard. Download the app that matches your role; this Help Center covers both.
The Aman apps are free to download and use. Aman does not take payments. Any transport fee is an arrangement between you and your driver or transport operator, and you pay it to them directly, outside the app. Your driver or transport administrator may record a payment in Aman so that everyone has a shared record of what has been paid, but the money itself never moves through Aman. For fee amounts and payment methods, please speak to your driver or operator.
Aman is built for schools in Iraq and supports Arabic and English. You can switch language at any time from Settings → Language.
Open the Parent App, enter your mobile number (with the +964 country code), and tap continue. We send you a one-time verification code (OTP) by SMS. Enter the code, then complete your profile. Once your profile is set up, you can add your child and connect to a driver.
Drivers sign in to the Driver App using the Driver ID and password issued to them by their transport administrator — not a phone number. If you don't yet have a Driver ID, contact your administrator. You can change your password at any time from the app, and use "Forgot Password" if you are locked out.
Check that your mobile number was entered correctly, including the +964 code, and that you have signal. Wait a few moments and use "Resend code." SMS delivery can occasionally be delayed by your mobile network. If the code still doesn't arrive after a few tries, contact us at admin@amantransportiq.com.
Open Profile → Edit Profile to update your details. Changing the mobile number linked to your account requires re-verification for your security. If you need help, contact support.
You can request deletion of your Aman account and associated personal data at any time. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account in the app, or visit https://amantransportiq.com/delete-account. You can also email us at admin@amantransportiq.com from the address linked to your account. We will confirm your identity and permanently delete your account and personal data, subject to any records we are legally required to retain. Deleting a parent account removes your children's profiles associated with it.
In the Parent App, tap Add a Child and enter your child's name, grade, and level, then select their school from the list. Next, drop a GPS pin on the map at your home pickup location — this pin, not a typed address, is what your driver navigates to. Your child then goes through verification before the connection to a driver becomes active.
Verification protects every family on the platform by confirming that a child genuinely belongs to you and is enrolled at the school. Verification is done by the school confirming enrollment and/or your driver vouching for the child, and can take up to 24 hours. You'll see your child's status update in the app once verification is complete.
Schools are added by Aman administrators. If your school doesn't appear, contact us at admin@amantransportiq.com with the school's name so we can look into adding it.
Yes. One parent account can manage multiple children, each with their own school, pickup pin, and driver.
Ask your driver for their unique Driver ID. In the Parent App, enter that ID to send a connection request. This creates a pending request — the driver reviews it and accepts or rejects it. Once the driver accepts, your child joins their roster and you'll start seeing trip information. Aman does not browse or assign drivers for you; you connect using the ID your driver gives you.
It means the driver hasn't yet accepted your request. Drivers accept or reject based on whether they have a free seat and cover your area. While a request is pending, you cannot send another request for the same child until the current one is resolved. If your child already had a driver, that driver stays active until the new one accepts.
A driver may reject a request if their vehicle is full, your pickup location is outside their area, or the schedule doesn't fit. You can then request a different driver using their Driver ID.
Enter the new driver's ID to send a request. Your current driver remains active until the new driver accepts, so your child is never left without a connection during the switch.
If a driver becomes inactive, the children connected to them are moved to an unassigned state and their parents are notified automatically. You can then connect to a new driver by entering their Driver ID, or a transport administrator may suggest a new driver — who still confirms the connection before it becomes active.
When a trip is underway, open the Home screen or the Track/Map view to see the vehicle's progress and estimated arrival. You'll see whether the driver is on route, and when your child has been picked up or dropped off.
Aman sends real-time alerts for key moments in your child's journey — for example when the driver is on the way, when your child has been picked up, and when they've arrived. Alerts appear in the app's Alerts screen and, if you allow notifications, as push notifications on your phone.
A day is organised into shifts (for example a Morning Shift and an Afternoon Shift). Each shift has two legs — a pickup and a drop-off. The afternoon trip mirrors the morning trip in reverse.
Live location depends on the driver's device and mobile signal, so it can occasionally lag or pause. If information looks wrong or out of date, close and reopen the app. If the problem persists, contact support and tell us what you saw.
In the Parent App, open Attendance and report the absence. Please submit absences before the 6:30 AM cut-off so your driver sees them in time for the morning trip. You can add a note that is shared with the driver.
The Attendance section shows a calendar of pickup days and absences, and a trip history for past journeys.
One-off changes outside the normal daily run are arranged directly with your driver, offline. Aman does not manage per-day exceptions in the app.
The Driver App shows your students list and your daily trips. You accept or reject incoming connection requests from parents, and you can review each request's details before deciding.
Your Driver ID is your unique handle on Aman. Share it with parents you've agreed to serve so they can send you a connection request. You remain in control — you accept or reject every request.
You declare your own seat count. Aman uses it only to flag your vehicle as "full" to parents once your roster reaches that number. It never forces you to accept a request — you can accept or reject any request for any reason.
Use "Forgot Password" on the sign-in screen, or change your password from within the app at any time.
Aman collects the information needed to run the service — such as your contact details, your child's profile, your home pickup location, and, during trips, vehicle location. Data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
Your home pickup pin is used so the driver can navigate to you, and vehicle location is shown during active trips. We treat children's information with particular care. See the Privacy Policy for how location data is used, who can see it, and how long it is kept.
Your information is shared only as needed to provide the service — for example, a driver you connect with can see the child's details and pickup pin needed to complete the trip, and your school transport administrator can see information needed to verify students and manage transport. We do not sell your personal data.
If you have an urgent safety concern, contact your local emergency services first. For concerns about a driver or a connection on Aman, contact your transport administrator or email us at admin@amantransportiq.com.
Make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store, check your internet connection, and try closing and reopening the app. If the problem continues, contact us at admin@amantransportiq.com and describe what happened and which screen you were on.
Email admin@amantransportiq.com or visit https://amantransportiq.com/support. Please include your role (parent or driver) and, where relevant, your child's name or your Driver ID so we can help you faster. Our support hours are Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Baghdad time, GMT+3).
